Jiajika, No. X03 vein
Western Sichuan, Kangding (Garzê), China
Magmatic (Ni-Cu-PGE, carbonatites)Li
- Type
- Albite-spodumene granitic pegmatite
Recently discovered spodumene pegmatite vein in the Jiajika lithium deposit, with identified reserves of 643,100 t Li2O. Its δ7Li, close to 0 ‰ and stable with depth, matches that of the local two-mica granite, pointing to a common origin by crustal remelting.

| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| −0.72 ± 0.66 ‰ | −1.8 / 0.4 ‰ | 15 | whole rock, albite-spodumene pegmatite (drill holes ZK701 and ZK702) Published mean (-0.72 ‰) and standard deviation recalculated from the 15 samples of Appendix 1. Means per drill hole: -0.39 ‰ (ZK701, 6 samples) and -0.94 ‰ (ZK702, 9 samples). No correlation between lithium content and δ7Li. | Liu et al.
