IsoFind - Roadmap
Roadmap

IsoFind is built
with you

This roadmap is indicative and evolving. The major milestones are set; the details are continuously refined based on community feedback and needs emerging from real-world use.

Is a feature missing from your workflow? Every request is read and reviewed. The most relevant ones are added to the roadmap. Contact us or submit your idea on the forum.

Version Pro

The complete software for demanding professional and industrial environments.

  • Isotopic fractionations: Rayleigh, box models, equilibrium and kinetic
  • IsoFind Nexus: visual modelling of isotopic transformations
  • Geochemical machine learning: assisted interpretation trained on millions of published data points
  • Full audit trail: every action timestamped, attributed and exportable
  • Encryption and access control: user roles, session management, air-gap compatible
  • Local REST API (FastAPI + Swagger) for automation and Python integration
  • Certifiable reports in .isof and PDF, adapted to regulatory requirements
  • Multi-user with role-based access control

3D engine overhaul
and Lite edition

A faster, more realistic geochemical simulation, and a free entry point for teaching and exploration.

  • 3D simulation engine overhaul: full vectorisation of the ADE solver, plume computation accelerated by an order of magnitude, fine-grained handling of lithological heterogeneity
  • Improved hydraulic solver: richer boundary conditions, support for multilayer aquifers, more accurate Darcy derivation
  • Nexus / simulation coupling: precomputed pH x Eh lookup table for inline geochemical processes
  • Multi-scenario comparison: confront several parameter hypotheses within a single report
  • IsoFind Lite: free lightweight edition for teaching and evaluation, without CSIA or 3D simulation, .isof format level 0 (unsigned)

The vertical range

Three sector-specific editions built from the same foundation, each optimised for a precise field of work. Prices VAT-excluded, per user, per year.

  • Shared foundation: geochemical engine, ISOF signature, audit trail and machine learning inherited from the Pro version
  • Targeted vertical modules: each edition ships only with the modules relevant to its sector, with no irrelevant features
  • Pricing tailored to each sector, below the Pro rate for environmental editions, above for petroleum

Advanced analysis
and enriched reporting

Scaling up interpretation tools and results communication.

  • New, more powerful ML models trained on expanded geochemical corpora
  • Nexus improvements: new process blocks, better uncertainty handling
  • Propagated uncertainty calculation: every result accompanied by confidence intervals
  • Enriched reports: advanced layout, embedded charts, configurable sections
  • Automatic outlier detection with suggested handling

Collaboration
and real-time monitoring

Opening IsoFind to the outside: sharing, reproducibility, and the edition dedicated to continuous monitoring.

  • Reproducible project export: raw data + parameters + results + software version in a single shareable package
  • Lightweight sharing portal: read-only interface to share results with clients or partners without software access
  • EarthChem / Pangaea compatibility: direct import from major open geochemical reference databases
  • Secure multi-site synchronisation: encrypted sharing between multiple local databases within an organisation
  • IsoStream: new edition dedicated to real-time monitoring, alerts on isotopic drift, continuous sensor integration (€5,900 excl. VAT/year)

2028 and beyond

Connectivity
with instruments

The most ambitious step: removing the last friction between instrument and analysis.

  • Instrument connectors: native import from common instrument output formats (Thermo, Agilent, Nu Instruments...) without going through CSV
  • Open public API allowing the scientific community to build their own tools on top of IsoFind
  • LIMS integrations: connection with the most widely used laboratory management systems
