Pegmatite
A very coarse-grained igneous rock formed from the last melts of a granite, rich in water and rare elements. LCT-type pegmatites concentrate lithium, caesium and tantalum.
Composition
Minerals: quartz, feldspars, micas; for the LCT type: spodumene, lepidolite, petalite, tantalite, cassiterite.
