SEDEXZn-Pb-S (Cu)
- Type
- Proterozoic SEDEX Zn-Pb with brecciated ore
Giant SEDEX deposit of the Zhaertai Group, mined since the 1970s; brecciated sphalerite-pyrrhotite-galena ore in dolomitic marbles and schists. Zn and Fe become heavier from south-west to north-east in the main orebody (Rayleigh fractionation away from the feeder zone), while lead stays homogeneous. Coordinates read on the detailed map of the publication.
