Early Cretaceous iron oxide copper-gold district hosted by the Punta del Cobre Formation volcanic rocks at the contact of the Copiapó batholith. Sulfide lead has the composition of the common lead of the unaltered igneous rocks of the district, pointing to a magmatic source for the ore lead.
