Black smokers of the SW (355 °C), OBS and HG (350-351 °C) and NGS (273 °C) vents sampled in 1979; temperatures, Zn and Mg from Von Damm (1983). High-temperature fluids undersaturated in sphalerite; NGS, cooler and closer to saturation, gives the heaviest δ66Zn of the site, possibly partly through precipitation in the sampler (Mg up to 17 mM) according to John et al. (2008). Indicative coordinates.
