Other hydrothermalPb-Zn-Sb-Ag
- Type
- Fault-controlled Pb-Zn-Sb-Ag veins and breccias
One of the largest Pb-Zn deposits in China (1.23 Mt Pb + Zn + Sb), as veins and breccias along north-south faults (F2, F7) in Jurassic shales and sandstones of the Ridang Formation; hydrothermal Fe-Mn carbonates, fluid inclusions at 190 to 288 °C. Debated origin (reworked SEDEX, epithermal or magmatic-hydrothermal at about 20 Ma); sulfide zinc, close to that of regional igneous rocks, points to a magmatic fluid, while sulfur and lead indicate a sedimentary contribution. Coordinates read on the map of the publication.

| 0.18 ± 0.06 ‰ | 0.03 / 0.26 ‰ | 20 | sphalerite Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 20 samples, Table 2. Direct measurements without column; the two repeats after column chemistry (B1 at 1.20 ‰ and B14 at 1.12 ‰) differ by about 1 ‰ and are not used, as by the authors. | Duan et al.
