One of China's largest REE deposits, 20 km south-west of Dechang, in the middle of the Panxi rift. Lens-shaped stockwork in the 64.9 Ma aegirine-augite syenite intruding the Daluxiang quartz diorite (853 Ma); bastnäsite, celestobarite, fluorite, calcite, quartz. Quartz diorite: δ30Si -0.1 ‰ (whole rock; the text says 0.1 ‰), -0.2 ‰ (hornblende), 0.0 ‰ (quartz); δ18O 7.1, 6.8 and 9.1-9.3 ‰. Coordinates estimated from the source. Indicative coordinates.
