Tongkeng (Changpo-Tongkeng)

Dachang ore field, Nandan County, Hechi, Guangxi, China

Other hydrothermalSn-Zn-Pb-Sb-Cu

Type
Granite-related stratiform and vein Sn-polymetallic

Largest deposit of the Dachang field (680,000 t Sn at 1 %, 4.5 Mt Zn at 4 %, 80,000 t Cu): Sn-polymetallic ore at the top and newly found Zn-Cu ore below, as layers and veins in Middle to Upper Devonian siliceous and carbonate rocks. Homogeneous zinc comes from the fluid of the Cretaceous Longxianggai granite (91 to 94 Ma); helium also shows a contribution of Devonian exhalative sediments. Coordinates of the mining settlement.

−0.6 / −0.1 ‰laminated siliceous and K-feldspar rocks associated with cassiterite-sulfide ore
Second-hand data: review by Wang et al. (2019) after Ding et al. (1996). The Dachang ore field is not split by deposit; attached to Tongkeng (Changpo-Tongkeng), the main stratiform orebody. Barren radiolarian siliceous rocks give +0.2 to +0.8 ‰ (δ18O +12.0 to +21.4 ‰). Negative δ30Si and uniform δ18O read as a submarine hydrothermal rather than Yanshanian magmatic origin.
