Longtoushan (Dachang ore field)
Dachang ore field, Nandan County, Hechi, Guangxi, China
Other hydrothermalSn-Zn-Pb-Sb
- Type
- Tin-polymetallic veins and stratiform bodies in reef limestone
Giant deposit of the Dachang field, hosted by Middle Devonian (Givetian) reef limestone; the gently dipping ore body no. 100 is 900 m long, 60-230 m wide and 12.6 m thick on average. Its sulfur, with positive δ34S, would come from reef sulfates (gypsum) (Fan et al., 2004). Coordinates of the Dachang ore field, to within a few kilometres. Indicative coordinates.
