SkarnsPb-Zn (Au, Ag)

Type
Pb-Zn-Au (Ag) skarn and siliceous breccias

Deposit of the western part of the Shuikoushan ore field, about 210 km south of Changsha, linked to Jurassic intrusions (granodiorite, porphyries); ore in the silicified breccia zone of the Douling Formation, the skarn itself being mostly barren. Banded sphalerite with dark bands rich in Fe, Mn and Cu, Ga concentrated in band R2, homogeneous Cd (0.21 to 0.29 %); magmatic sulphur (Qin et al., 2025). Indicative coordinates (Changning county seat).

Published weighted mean (3.63 ± 0.64 ‰), number of spots not stated; no systematic core-to-rim variation nor with band colour. The text assigns two different ranges to band 1 (1.98 to 5.18 and 2.80 to 4.51 ‰), so no per-band split is kept. Earlier bulk data from -0.62 to +1.24 ‰ (Li et al., 2021).
