SkarnsSn (Cu, Pb, Zn)

Type
Tin and base-metal skarn, with oxidised zone and gossan

A deposit of the Gejiu tin district, one of the largest in the world, related to Cretaceous granites. Iron becomes heavier as the ore oxidises: primary sulfides are the lightest, gossans the heaviest.
