Xiaotongguanshan
Tongguanshan ore field, Tongling, Anhui, China
SkarnsCu (Fe)
- Type
- Copper (magnetite) skarn at the contact of a quartz monzodiorite
Tongling district, Lower Yangtze metallogenic belt: garnet-diopside skarns between the Yanshanian quartz monzodiorite and the carbonates. Four stages: skarn, magnetite, quartz-sulfide, quartz-carbonate. Fluid magmatic first, then enriched in meteoric water (calculated water-rock ratio 0.26); sulfur mostly magmatic with a sedimentary share. Coordinates of Tongling. Indicative coordinates.
