Type
Lode gold (auriferous quartz veins) in Archean TTG and a Cretaceous granite porphyry

About 50 t gold, one of the largest gold deposits of the North China Craton: NW to NNW quartz veins 0.05 to 4.30 m thick controlled by secondary faults. Four stages: quartz-hematite-pyrite (I, 303-405 °C, boiling), quartz-pyrite-electrum (II, 263-320 °C), quartz-pyrite-chalcopyrite-sphalerite-galena-electrum-argentite (III, 220-280 °C) and barren quartz-calcite (IV); magmatic-hydrothermal fluids (Li, 2022). Zeng et al. (2026): stage III electrum from -1.53 to -0.40 ‰ in δ109Ag, argentite from -0.11 to +0.17 ‰, an offset ascribed to inheritance from early boiling. Samples from the 510 m adit. Indicative coordinates: mine position from its Mindat entry (39°23′30″ N, 113°34′59″ E), not published by Zeng et al. (2026).
