Gold placers with osmium-iridium-ruthenium alloys derived from an ophiolite

Gold placers associated with the Veluće ophiolite complex, described by Krstić and Tarkian (1997). Junk and Pernicka (2003): nine Os-Ir-Ru, Os-Ru-Ir and Ru-Os-Ir alloy grains, 187Os/188Os from 0.12400 to 0.12629, a narrow distribution typical of ophiolite complexes according to the authors.
