- Type
- Granite porphyry-related magmatic-hydrothermal Ag-Pb-Zn
One of the largest Ag-Pb-Zn deposits of South China, related to the Late Jurassic granite porphyry (mineralisation at about 163 Ma): disseminated and vein ore in the porphyry, zoned from Cu at depth to Ag-Pb-Zn near surface, and stratiform ore in volcanics of the Daguding Formation with Fe-Mn carbonate layers. Early Fe-rich sphalerite is lighter than late Fe-poor sphalerite (Rayleigh); the fluid exsolved from the magma (about 0.26 ‰) is lighter than the residual granite. Estimated coordinates. Indicative coordinates.

| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.29 ‰ | 0.05 / 0.6 ‰ | 25 | sphalerite of porphyry-hosted and stratiform ores Published mean and range, 25 analyses (12 stratiform, 13 porphyry-hosted). Range given in the text: the δ66Zn column of Table 1 is cut off in the supplied copy. Early Fe-rich sphalerite mostly below 0.30 ‰, late Fe-poor sphalerite mostly above. | Qi et al. | 0.24 / 0.41 ‰ | 5 | Fe-Mn carbonates of the stratiform layers (gangue) Published range, 5 samples. Range given in the text: the δ66Zn column of Table 1 is cut off in the supplied copy. Close to Fe-poor sphalerite. | Qi et al. (2025), Zn isotopic variations in ore-related granite and ore minerals in a mag… | |
| 0.46 ± 0.15 ‰ | 0.23 / 0.69 ‰ | 9 | ore-related granite porphyry (whole rock) Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 9 samples, Table S5. Heavier than the exsolved fluid (about 0.26 ‰): light zinc goes into the fluid. Two altered samples (loss on ignition 5.3 and 5.8 %) should be treated with caution. | Qi et al. (2025), Zn isotopic variations in ore-related granite and ore minerals in a mag… |
| 0.49 ± 0.11 ‰ | 0.29 / 0.65 ‰ | 9 | ore-unrelated K-feldspar granite porphyry, including the migmatitic facies (whole rock) Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 9 samples, Table S5. The supplement groups under this name the five samples called migmatitic granite in Table 1 of the article. | Qi et al. | 0.45 ‰ | 1 | ore-unrelated volcanic tuff (whole rock) One analysis, article text. | Qi et al. (2025), Zn isotopic variations in ore-related granite and ore minerals in a mag… |
