Uranium ore sample from the Queen's University collection analysed by Uvarova et al. (2014) for δ238U and δ234U. Carnotite precipitated at very low temperature (below 50 °C) in palaeovalley calcretes; δ238U close to igneous rocks (source in nearby alkaline intrusions according to Hartleb, 1988) and δ234U at equilibrium: mobilisation and precipitation barely fractionated uranium.
