UraniumU (Mo)
- Type
- Brannerite-pitchblende uranium in Palaeoproterozoic granitoids, below an unconformity
Recently discovered deposit in strongly deformed Palaeoproterozoic granitoids of the Chuya-Nechera complex, near the contact with the unconformable Riphean cover; brannerite-pitchblende ore in chlorite-hydromica alteration haloes, economic molybdenum in the northern area. Primary uraninite at 1832 ± 13 Ma, transformed at 377 ± 5 Ma; radiogenic lead redeposited as galena in late veinlets. U-Pb and Pb-Pb ages by micro-sampling, isotope dilution and TIMS (Golubev et al., 2008). Coordinates not given.
