- Pb-Zn veins in Carboniferous limestones, oxidised near surface
Pb-Zn-F-Ba veins and replacements in Carboniferous limestones of the Peak District (Brassington, Matlock, Ball Eye, Cobbler); smithsonite replacing scalenohedral calcite. Sulfide oxidation at about 15 to 20 °C, under a climate warmer than today (Boni et al., 2019). Indicative coordinates.
