IsoSupply is the IsoFind vertical edition dedicated to CRM regulatory compliance, due diligence and origin identification of strategic raw materials. Post-transformation signature reconstruction, multi-source demixing and auditable reports.
Between the Critical Raw Materials Act, the Battery Regulation, OECD due diligence obligations and targeted sanctions, procurement and compliance teams face a stack of frameworks with heterogeneous requirements. IsoSupply unifies the response.
Tracing a critical metal from mine to finalshed product means tracking documentary information (invoices, certificates of origin, supplier declarations) that can be challenged, forged or simply lost. The isotopic signature, however, is intrinsic to the material and resists documentary fraud.
But this signature evolves at every industrial step. Without a fractionation propagation model, comparing a final signature to a deposit database leads to attribution errors. This is exactly the lock IsoSupply releases: inverse reconstruction of the original signature through an entire industrial chain.
The output: a compliance file auditable, cryptographically signed, admissible before customs authorities, certifiers and internal control committees.
IsoSupply's technical core: a probabilistic solver that walks back the industrial chain step by step to reconstruct the original signature from a final signature.
The isotopic signature of a refined, alloyed or blended metal is no longer that of its original ore. Each industrial step introduces a characteristic fractionation whose direction and amplitude depend on the process (thermal refinalng, electrolysis, alloying, remelting).
IsoSupply models each known step, applies fractionation in reverse, and reconstructs the distribution of plausible original signatures with their uncertainties. The final matching is probabilistic: the reference deposit database returns a top-N of candidates with confidence scores.
Signature reconstruction pour l'antimoine · The final signature +0.58 ‰ is brought back to +0.28 ‰ by inverting industrial fractionations, then matched against the deposit database. Hunan is the main candidate.
IsoSupply embeds a specific declination of the Quick Match module with four modes tailored to supply chain and due diligence problems. No raw geoprospection, but an audit-and-compliance-oriented reading.
Supplier scoring matrix · Four antimony suppliers evaluated on five compliance criteria. Supplier D shows an alert score that triggers a deep audit.
Each of the four modes answers a specific everyday question for procurement and compliance teams: where does a lot come from, is it authentic, does it contain recycled materials, and is its supplier reliable over time.
Identify the source deposit of a lot via isotopic matching, after reconstruction of the initial signature.
Detect an abnormal signature against the supplier reference, alert on undeclared changes.
Quantify the proportions of multiple origins in a mixture (primary vs recycled, multi-supplier).
Periodic evaluation of a supplier on five composite criteria, with consolidated score and history.
IsoSupply visualises each supply chain as a directed graph, from extraction deposit to finished product, with isotopic annotation at each link and compliance markers at critical steps.
Classical traceability relies on document chains (Bills of Lading, certificates of origin, supplier declarations). IsoSupply adds an intrinsic physical proof at each chain link: the isotopic signature measured at that step.
The graph visualises potential break points: links without isotopic measurement, gaps between measured and expected signature, supplier changes in the chain. Alerts are automatically raised with their criticality level.
For complex chains (multiple refiners, multi-country sourcing, subcontracting), the graph can integrate up to 20 documented links, with branches and convergence points.
Supply chain graph · Three mines converge towards a European refiner via two concentrators. The TJ-02 concentrator without isotopic measurement triggers a medium-criticality alert.
IsoSupply structures its reports according to the requirements of the main European and international frameworks applicable to critical raw materials traceability and substances of concern.
2021-2030 regulatory schedule · Entry into force of the main CRM and substances frameworks. The CRMA sets concrete objectives for extraction (10%), processing (40%) and recycling (25%) to reach by 2030.
Regulation 2024/1252 imposing traceability and diversification for 34 CRMs. Transparency, minimum recycling, single-supplier dependency reduction. IsoSupply response: isotopic origin certification and primary/recycled demixing.
Battery passport mandatory from 2027 for industrial and EV batteries, with origin declaration for Li, Co, Ni, graphite and minimum recycled content. IsoSupply response: isotopic verification and recycled content calculation by demixing.
International framework for responsible chains. Five structured steps: policy, risk identification, response design, independent audit, reporting. IsoSupply provides isotopic evidence at steps 2 and 4.
Regulation 2017/821 on 3TG minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold) from conflict zones. Enhanced due diligence and origin declaration. IsoSupply isotopically distinguishes high-risk origins by signature.
Information on substances of very high concern (SVHC) in imported articles. Detailed composition and concentrations. IsoSupply integrates isotope-element coupling identification for SVHC traceability.
Database mandatory since 2021 for suppliers of articles containing > 0.1% SVHC. Composition, location, concentrations. IsoSupply documents multi-element traceability with propagated uncertainties.
IsoSupply is for cross-functional roles in an organisation: procurement, compliance, legal, quality, ESG. Each use case produces an admissible deliverable.
Periodic evaluation of each supplier on five composite criteria, with consolidated score, multi-year history and automatic triggering of deep audits on alerted suppliers.
In-depth verification of supply chains before acquiring a mining, metallurgical or industrial company. Identification of hidden risks linked to raw material origin.
Quick production of isotopic origin proof in case of contestation by customs authorities. Fight against tariff fraud and economic sanctions circumvention.
Assembly of admissible ESG certification files, with intrinsic physical proofs complementing the documentary chain. Recognised by major mining ESG frameworks.
Assembly of the Critical Raw Materials Act compliance file for annual declaration. Tracking of diversification objectives, primary/recycled ratios and supplier dependency.
Independent expertise in commercial dispute or origin litigation over a lot. SHA-256 sealed report, full audit trail, defensible before a commercial court or arbitration court.
IsoSupply reports natively integrate the documentary structures of the main regulatory frameworks. Automated production, cryptographic sealing, long-term archiving.
13 compliance-dedicated templates with pre-structured sections: CRMA declaration, battery passport, OECD due diligence report, 3TG file, SVHC declaration. Auto-filling from project data, limited manual adjustment, major time savings.
Each report is signed with ECDSA P-256 using a laboratory certificate verifiable offline. SHA-256 fingerprint embedded in the PDF and archived. Any later modification invalidates the signature. ISOF standard compatible with the open-source isof module on PyPI.
Every action on data is traced: import, normalisation, compliance calculation, report generation. Exportable log, defensible during a regulatory inspection or external audit. Compliance with documentary chain traceability requirements.
Direct import from the main market LIMS (LabWare, STARLIMS, standard CSV/Excel formats). Intelligent column mapping via semantic resolver, automatic unit normalisation, preservation of sample references.
