Soil

Abandoned zinc smelting region where slags piled on slopes contaminate soils and sediments (Pb up to 46,219 mg/kg, Zn 57,178 mg/kg, Cd 312 mg/kg). Soil lead falls on a mixing line between ore and coal or wall rock; mine pit water has a δ34S of +7.80 ‰.
