50 m weathering profile on Ambenali Formation basalts (Deccan, 67 to 63 Ma), capped by an indurated laterite formed at about 65 to 55 Ma. 7 to 244 ng/g Tl, net Tl gain in the profile. Heavy excursion of +6.2 ε205Tl in the saprolite at 13 m, at the inferred palaeo-water table, where redox changes, Fe and Mn oxides and neoformed phyllosilicates would fractionate Tl; protolith not measured, assumed at -2 ± 1 (Howarth et al., 2018). Published coordinates (17° 54' 43" N, 77° 32' 38" E).
