8 m lateritic profile on basalt beside Huguangyan Maar Lake (Zhanjiang, Guangdong), tropical climate, profile age about 78 ka; kaolinite, goethite, quartz, hematite and ilmenite. Soils are lighter than the basalt: iron oxides retain 121Sb and 123Sb goes to the waters; atmospheric input (rain, litter) dominant in the upper 4 m (Wu et al., 2024). Indicative coordinates (Huguangyan lake). Water of the lake next to the profile (0.111 to 0.117 ng/mL Sb), the heaviest of the study: receives heavy Sb leached from the lateritic soils.
