Pepegoona West ore groundwater (well PW0061)
South Australia, Eyre Formation aquifer (Beverley North), Australia
Groundwater
- Type
- Groundwater
Well screened in ore above 1 % U (pH 6.72, 28.2 °C); waters 15,000 to 19,000 years old, with no recent recharge nor anthropogenic 236U. The only one of the eleven wells studied where natural 236U was detected: first report in groundwater in contact with a deposit, with a ratio equal to that of the nearby ore (Murphy et al., 2015). Published coordinates (GDA94, zone 54) converted to degrees.
236U/238U isotope ratio, no unit Values of the same system
Standard : Vienna-KkU
| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
