Boron-rich salt lake on the ophiolite melange zone (Jurassic MORB- and arc-type basalts) on the southern flank of the Bangong-Nujiang suture; sampled in winter 2015 (Li et al., 2022). Coordinates not published (map between 31°50' and 32°10' N, 83°45' and 84°15' E). Hydromagnesite and aragonite with minor muscovite, calcite, quartz and albite; 370 mg/kg B and 100 mg/kg Li (possible small precipitated borates).
