Boron-rich carbonate salt lake of central Tibet (pH 9.4 to 9.5 in July 2011). Samples XS-1 (east), DR-29 (west) and DR-37 (south). Water boron concentrations differ by a factor of about 8 between Table 2 (µg/L) and the text (mg/L), for every sample; the boron fluxes of Table 2 are consistent with the table values.

| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| −18 ± 0.6 ‰ | −18.5 / −17.4 ‰ | 3 | lake surface brine Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 3 analyses, -18.5 to -17.4 (XS-1 -17.4; DR-29 -18.5; DR-37 -18.1). The text gives -17.4, -18.5 and -18.1 ‰ for the east, west and south of the lake; the assignment to samples is inferred from their coordinates. Published mean -18.0 ‰. 34.6 to 39.3 mg/L B in Table 2. | Lü et al. (2013), Origin of boron in the Damxung Co Salt Lake (central Tibet): Evidence f… |
