Epithermal depositsAu-Sb
- Type
- Gold-antimony (berthierite-stibnite assemblage superimposed on gold-quartz)
Gold-antimony occurrence in the axial part of the Adycha-Taryn fault: Late Cretaceous quartz-stibnite-berthierite assemblage emplaced during sinistral strike-slip and superimposed on older gold-quartz mineralisation (reaction chalcostibite, ullmannite, Sb-rich pyrite, aurostibite and "spongy gold"). Gamyanin et al. (2018): milky quartz from +16.1 to +19.2 ‰ (fluid +4.9 to +8.2 ‰ at 200 °C), ankerite from -12.1 to -9.5 ‰ in δ13C, stibnite from -5.3 to +0.2 ‰: significant magmatic input, carbon lighter than in gold-quartz. Kinyas'-Yurakh in the text; listed as gold-antimony in Tables 2 to 4 and gold-quartz in Table 5. Occurrence values: milky quartz +16.3 ‰; regenerated quartz +8.9 ‰; ankerite -10.4 ‰ in δ13C and +16.3 ‰ in δ18O; δ34S: arsenopyrite +1.3, stibnite -3.3; -3.6 ‰. Coordinates not published (schematic map only).
