Epithermal depositsAu-Sb

Type
Gold-antimony (berthierite-stibnite assemblage superimposed on gold-quartz)

Gold-antimony occurrence in the axial part of the Adycha-Taryn fault: Late Cretaceous quartz-stibnite-berthierite assemblage emplaced during sinistral strike-slip and superimposed on older gold-quartz mineralisation (reaction chalcostibite, ullmannite, Sb-rich pyrite, aurostibite and "spongy gold"). Gamyanin et al. (2018): milky quartz from +16.1 to +19.2 ‰ (fluid +4.9 to +8.2 ‰ at 200 °C), ankerite from -12.1 to -9.5 ‰ in δ13C, stibnite from -5.3 to +0.2 ‰: significant magmatic input, carbon lighter than in gold-quartz. Listed as gold-antimony in Table 3 and gold-quartz in Table 5. Occurrence values: milky quartz +19.0 and +19.2 ‰; δ34S: pyrite -5.7; -6.6, stibnite -0.6; -6.1 ‰. Coordinates not published (schematic map only).
