Iberian Pyrite Belt, western Andalusia (province not stated), Spain

Volcanogenic massive sulfidesCu-Zn-Pb (pyrite)

Type
Volcanogenic massive sulfide

Volcanogenic massive sulfide body of the Iberian Pyrite Belt, hosted by the volcano-sedimentary complex (Late Devonian to Visean). Its lead is very homogeneous over 250 km and close to that of the host acid lavas (Marcoux, 1998). Deposit not located: the place cited in the source could not be tied to reliable coordinates.
