Orogenic goldAu (Sb)
- Type
- Orogenic gold (antimony) in sulfide-bearing quartz veins
Medium gold deposit (13 to 15 t at 3.33 g/t) in slates, sandstones and limestones of the Jurassic Ridang Formation, at the junction of the east-west detachment system and north-south normal faults. Auriferous arsenopyrite and pyrite, stibnite precipitated in fractures of Py1a pyrite. Xu et al. (2024): framboidal Py0 pyrite from -12.0 to +4.6 ‰ (biogenic sulfur), hydrothermal Py1 to Py3 pyrites from -0.8 to +7.5 ‰ (sulfur from metamorphosed sediments), calculated H2S from -2.0 to +6.2 ‰; antimony inherited from Py0 (206 to 440 ppm Sb). Coordinates not published.
