At IsoFind, privacy is not an option but an architectural principle. Our model is built on providing high-performance scientific software, not on exploiting your data.
IsoFind is 100% offline software. We have no technical means to access, collect, or store your isotopic signatures, research data, or local databases. This is not just a policy: it is an architectural constraint.
No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts on this website.
This site does not store any non-essential cookies on your browser.
All your data stays on your machine. No synchronization to any remote server.
The software sends no usage statistics or diagnostics back to our systems.
This website does not use any behavioral analysis tools, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. Any cookies present are strictly functional (WordPress session) and are not transmitted to third parties.
All calculations performed within IsoFind v1.1 take place exclusively on your local machine.
The previous article describes the default behaviour: nothing leaves your machine. IsoFind does however offer three sharing mechanisms, all optional, all triggered by an explicit action on your part, and all absent in air-gap mode.
What becomes public. An accepted contribution is intended to be browsed and downloaded by anyone, published with attribution to its authors and the reference of its source publication where one exists. Before contributing, check that the data contains no information you do not wish to make public, in particular sensitive site coordinates or data covered by a confidentiality agreement.
What we receive. The contents of the file you chose to publish, and the email address used for the submission, kept for moderation and to contact you back. That address is neither published, nor passed to a third party, nor used for marketing.
Moderation. Every contribution is reviewed before publication. A contribution that does not meet the stated conditions may be refused or withdrawn.
Ownership and withdrawal. Contributing transfers no intellectual property: you remain the holder of your rights over the data, methods and code you publish. You may request the withdrawal of a contribution at any time by writing to colin.ferrari@isofind.tech. Withdrawal applies to the publication and has no effect on copies already downloaded by third parties.
The only personal data processed is what you voluntarily provide when contacting us via email or the website's form. This data is used solely to respond to your requests and is never shared with third parties.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your interactions with us. To exercise these rights, please contact colin.ferrari@isofind.tech.
While we do not store your scientific data, we provide the tools to secure it. The .isof format natively integrates ECDSA cryptographic signatures to ensure the integrity of your data transfers between peers, without the need for a third-party trusted server.
