DR-24 in Quaternary sediments of the central basin (31.539° N, 86.662° E), DR-34 in the northeast near bedrock (31.601° N, 86.792° E) and DR-60 in the southwest, downstream of the granite (31.432° N, 86.611° E); 8 to 9 °C. Water boron concentrations differ by a factor of about 8 between Table 2 (µg/L) and the text (mg/L), for every sample; the boron fluxes of Table 2 are consistent with the table values.

| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| −9.9 ± 7.6 ‰ | −14.5 / −1.2 ‰ | 3 | cold spring water Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 3 analyses, -14.5 to -1.2 (DR-24 -14.1; DR-34 -14.5; DR-60 -1.2). DR-60, much heavier, is ascribed by the authors to a different host rock. | Lü et al. (2013), Origin of boron in the Damxung Co Salt Lake (central Tibet): Evidence f… |
