Mediterranean-Himalayan geothermal belt, along the Indus-Yarlung Zangbo suture. Na-Cl waters at 76-84 °C, pH 8.4-8.7, richest in SiO2 (up to 200 ppm), B, Li and Cs; reservoir about 250 °C. Springs aligned along the Yarlung Zangbo, 0-800 m east of a bridge. Site not precisely located: the source gives no coordinates.
