Hunan, Zijiang River basin, China

Sediments

Type
Sediment

Surface sediments of the Zijiang (653 km, tributary of Dongting Lake) and its mining tributaries, in the Xikuangshan antimony belt (Longshan, Xikuangshan, Gutaishan, Zhazixi and Banxi deposits); sediment Sb mostly anthropogenic, with little isotope fractionation along the river (dilution and adsorption on Al-Fe oxides without notable effect) according to Liu et al. (2024). Sampling coordinates in Table S1, not supplied. Tributary of the Longshan Sb-Au mine; Sb from 4.47 to 62.04 mg/kg (24.56 on average).
