Rivers and surface water

Type
River or surface water

Catchment of calc-alkaline volcanic and plutonic rocks; delta49Ti close to arc andesites. Depth profiles from the field campaigns of Bouchez et al. (2011) and Dellinger et al. (2014). Aarons et al. (2023): suspended sediment heavier than bedload, which concentrates dense Fe-Ti oxides and zircon; delta49Ti correlated with Al/Zr, with no clear link to depth or modal grain size.
