Rain collected 1.5 m above ground between 1000 and 3310 m elevation, two of them in Kathmandu (Rose et al., 2000). Mean B of 0.09 µmol/l outside Kathmandu; rain contribution to river boron of 0.1 to 5 ‰ according to the authors. Without published coordinates.

Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 3 analyses, +3.8 to +6.5 (NAG1 +6.0; MO17bis +3.8; MO62 +6.5). Rain outside Kathmandu, 0.09 µmol/l B each; 1σ uncertainties from 0.8 to 2.9 ‰. The authors use +5.4 ± 1.4 ‰ to correct the rivers, value found again here.
