Barro Alto ultramafic massif groundwater (piezometer PZ1)

Goiás, Brazil (Central-West ultramafic complexes), Brazil

Groundwater

Type
Groundwater

Piezometer downstream of the RC and BA lateritic profiles, water sampled at 24 m depth; alkaline waters (pH 7.5 to 7.8), rich in Mg (16 to 26 mg/L) and Si, 7 to 17 µg/L Ni. The nearby piezometer PZ2 (pH 9.1 to 9.3) was not analysed for isotopes. Piezometer coordinates from the authors.
