Karnes County uranium district groundwater (1970s)
Texas, Karnes County, United States
Groundwater
- Type
- Groundwater
Karnes County deposits partly in a shallow oxidising setting: the four waters have U contents comparable to the Highland ore zone and ratios of 1.88 to 3.31, without U-poor high-ratio downdip water; contrasts subdued compared with reduced deposits (Cowart and Osmond, 1977). Attached to Falls City, the main centre of the district; wells not located.
