Xikuangshan antimony mine (Hunan), the world's largest: waters of the Feishuiyan stream, aquifer springs and wells and Shetianqiao adits, all alkaline (pH 6.8 to 8.9) and very Sb-rich (up to 47 mg/L). δ123Sb of -0.20 to +0.73 ‰ (Spex lot CL8-06SBY): oxidative weathering of stibnite, waste heaps and slags, adsorption onto Fe-Mn oxyhydroxides and mixing (Wen et al., 2023). Coordinates not published. Mine waters from Shetianqiao sections 3, 5 and 8 (pH 6.8 to 8.9): δ123Sb of -0.20 to +0.14 ‰ (mean +0.07 ‰), within the stibnite range; in section 8, δ123Sb rising as Sb falls, ascribed to adsorption onto Fe-Mn oxyhydroxides.
