Xikuangshan antimony mine: 60 waters sampled from October to December 2016 (Wen et al., 2023, Environmental Pollution), near-neutral to alkaline, rich in sulfate and Sb(OH)6-; chemistry controlled by carbonate dissolution and silicate weathering. Sulfate and Sb come mainly from stibnite oxidation, without notable bacterial reduction; Sr points to leaching of mine wastes and smelting waters as the major source of groundwater Sb. Coordinates not published (map only). Three rainwaters, Sb from 0.03 to 0.05 mg/L (0.044 on average), reference for atmospheric inputs.
