Streams of the Damxung Co basin
Central Tibet (Damxung Co basin), China
Rivers and surface water
- Type
- River or surface water
Six streams: Quru (Qu-1), Yuzha (DR-17), Jinonggou (DR-59) and three creeks (DR-36, DR-41, DR-58), draining Permian, Cretaceous, granite and Quaternary deposits. Water boron concentrations differ by a factor of about 8 between Table 2 (µg/L) and the text (mg/L), for every sample; the boron fluxes of Table 2 are consistent with the table values.

Quoted values: DR-17 (Yuzha River) -0.5 ‰; DR-41 -2.7 ‰ and Qu-1 -8.6 ‰, inferred from the downstream change "from -2.7 to -8.6 ‰"; Qu-1 and DR-58 "-8.4 to -8.6 ‰" without assignment; DR-36 and DR-59 without value. | Lü et al.
