Sediments described by Carpentier et al. (2008, 2009): hole 144 at 2960 m water depth, 340 km from South America, enriched in detrital quartz and zircon; hole 543 at 5630 m, 860 km away, clay-dominated. Coordinates not published in Tian et al. (2021).
