Orogenic goldAu (Sb)
- Type
- Disseminated gold-sulfide in black shales, with late antimony
West Kalba gold belt (Ob-Zaisan Hercynides), in Carboniferous carbonaceous terrigenous-carbonate rocks; invisible gold in disseminated pyrite and arsenopyrite, close to the Carlin type according to the authors, late antimony (stibnite in quartz-stibnite veins and breccias) emplaced during extension. Auriferous pyrite-arsenopyrite disseminated in Lower Carboniferous carbonaceous silty sandstones and small stocks of beresitised plagiogranite; stibnite pockets in quartz veins several metres thick and massive stibnite veins in the plagiogranites. Sericite Ar-Ar ages: 286.7 ± 3.4 (beresitised plagiogranite), 287.9 ± 2.8 and 282.5 ± 2.7 Ma (disseminated ore). Coordinates not published.
