Type
Granite-related tin veins (cassiterite-sulphide-tourmaline)

Tin bodies at the contact of the Pingying granite with Proterozoic metamorphic rocks, mostly as tourmaline-rich cassiterite-sulphide veins in the country rocks, also within the granite and a greisen zone. Jiang (2001): δ11B rising from the granite (-13.9 ‰) to the greisens (-12.7 and -11.9 ‰) and to the country-rock veins (-11.4 and -11.3 ‰), ascribed to magmatic degassing. Coordinates not published (location map only).
