PorphyriesPb-Ag-Au
- Type
- Pb-Ag-Au related to an alkali syenite porphyry
Cenozoic alkali-rich porphyry belt of Jinshajiang-Ailaoshan (western Yunnan): silicon of the mineralising fluids (silicified quartz, hemimorphite) lighter than that of the porphyries (0.0 to 0.4 ‰), two sources according to the authors. Highly alkaline intrusion, poor in Ca, Mg and Fe, favourable to lead, silver and gold; altered gold-bearing sandstones (Upper Cretaceous). The source places the deposit at Heqing, other work in Yao'an County. Deposit not located: the place cited in the source could not be tied to reliable coordinates.
