Xiangxi (Sb-Au)

Western Hunan (Xiangxi), China

Other hydrothermalSb-Au

Type
Low-temperature Sb-Au veins in Neoproterozoic slates

Sb-Au deposit (11,925 t Sb) in Neoproterozoic slates, treated by Zhai et al. (2026) separately from Woxi (247,472 t Sb). The name Xiangxi also designates the gold mine that works Woxi: the identity of the deposit remains uncertain. South China antimony belt (Xiangzhong basin), low-temperature hydrothermal domain (about 140 to 250 °C). Deposit not located with certainty, hence no coordinates.
