Mississippi Valley TypeZn-Pb (Tl)

Type
Mississippi Valley-type Zn-Pb in Muschelkalk dolomites

Mineralisation with calcite, dolomite, barite, banded sphalerite (Schalenblende), massive galena and pyrite, with minor sulfosalts including Tl-bearing hutchinsonite, deposited at about 150 °C during Upper Rhine Graben extension (Pfaff et al., 2010); non-metamorphic analogue of the Lengenbach precursor, with a similar Tl signature (Hettmann et al., 2014). Indicative coordinates (Wiesloch town).
