- Type
- Gold-sulphide-tourmaline-quartz veins
Darasun district: gold veins controlled by fractures related to the collision of the Siberian and Sino-Korean continents, associated with Jurassic to Cretaceous intrusions of the Amudzhikan-Sretensky Complex, without later metamorphic overprint; host Palaeozoic metagabbros (Kruchininsky Complex) and granitoids. Veins 30 to 1500 m long in propylitized metagabbros, near a granodiorite porphyry; average 25 g/t Au. Baksheev et al. (2015): tourmaline from -15.7 to +2.5 ‰, initial fluid near -12 ‰ (granitic), made heavier by Rayleigh fractionation.
