Mississippi Valley TypeZn-Pb
- Type
- Zn-Pb in Cambrian carbonates, oxidised to calamine
Mine (Cicillonis open pit) in the hills bordering the Iglesias valley, in Gonnesa territory. Supergene smithsonite formed from meteoric waters at about 20 to 35 °C (Boni et al., 2003); light carbon inherited from soil and vegetation. Indicative coordinates.
