Other hydrothermalPb-Zn (Ag, Cd, Ga)
- Type
- Stratiform and vein Pb-Zn in Silurian slates, linked to Cretaceous granitoids
Nine orebodies (over one million tonnes, 2.30 % Pb and 3.21 % Zn) in slates of the Wenquangou Formation. Mineralisation at about 99 Ma, coeval with 107 to 102 Ma granitoids 2.5 km to the east; sphalerite formed at about 195 to 257 °C. Magmatic-hydrothermal sulfur and lead, lead identical to the Cretaceous granitoids. Indicative coordinates. Position read on the location map of Huang et al. (2026).
